Bright red stems topped with bright green crinkly leaves, this chard is beautiful enough for the ornamental garden. Leaves can be eaten raw or cooked up like spinach. Stems are often cooked like asparagus. Harvest at the baby leaf stage or allow to maturea and cut on stem at a time while the plant continues to grow.
